Film Club Reviews

I usually only do reviews of recently released movies on this site.  I have reviews for movies released in 2008, 2009, and 2010 (even though I have only seen two 2010 movies so far).  However, I’ve decided to extend my scope and put up some reviews of older movies I have recently been introduced to.

I am involved in a Film Club, which is somewhat similar to a book club.  The way it works is that I am partnered up with a different person each round and that person suggests a movie which I haven’t yet seen, and vice versa.  We then have two weeks to watch the movie and write a short review on it.

I’ve decided to post my reviews from the film club up on my blog.  The movies I have watched are quite varied; from modern sci-fi to fifty year old foreign flicks.  I hope you enjoy these reviews and perhaps they will encourage you to watch these movies as well.
