Taken

This movie is just plain awesome. Its the story of an ex-cia agent whose daughter is kidnapped, and so he goes Jack Bauer on their a****. Liam Neeson is just plain awesome in this movie. He’s kicking a** and taking names later. I love all of the little tricks he uses in order to find his daughter and his non-stop persistence. This is truly a thrill-ride, both smart and exciting.
There’s really not much more to this movie other than what I’ve described: ass-kicking. And it doesn’t ever really try to be anything more than that, other than also trying to show the struggle Neeson makes in becoming a part of his daughters life. This also works however and adds to his drive to save her. This is an intense movie where we feel for Neeson and cheer for him the whole way, while watching some great action unfold.
